GREG GRAFFIN

Bad Religion Co-Founder, Lead Vocalist & Evolutionary Biologist • Los Angeles, CA / Ithaca, NY • Since 1980

Co-founder, lead vocalist, and co-principal songwriter of Bad Religion since 1980, as well as a Cornell PhD in zoology and UCLA evolutionary biology lecturer. Greg's rapid-fire multi-syllabic lyrics and soaring three-part 'oozin' aahs' vocal harmonies became the signature voice of Southern California melodic hardcore.

“Punk rock is a process of questioning and challenging consensus—in music, in politics, and in science.”
