GLENN DANZIG

Misfits Co-Founder, Horror-Punk Architect & Plan 9 Records Boss • Lodi, NJ • Since 1977

Founding vocalist, songwriter, and DIY mastermind of the Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig. Operating Plan 9 Records out of his family home in Lodi, New Jersey, Glenn hand-silkscreened Crimson Ghost shirts, pasted together ransom-note lyric sheets, and wrote every song in the classic Misfits canon.

“We pressed our own 7-inches, silkscreened our own shirts on the floor, and built the Fiend Club without asking a single major label for help.”
